Nicki Ament

I am a full-spectrum doula, offering birth (including virtual), postpartum, and bereavement/abortion support. I am co-owner of my doula business and partner with another amazing doula. I take on 3-5 births a month, and 1-2 postpartum clients. I spent nearly 20 years of my life in home health, supporting people in the end of life phase before my oldest son made me a Nonni and I switched my focus to babies and helping support new families as they begin their life-changing journey into parenthood.

I am constantly learning new doula skills, taking workshops and trainings, and finding ways to better support my community with an ambition to help as many people as I can to learn to navigate pregnancy and delivery, as well as parenthood. I offer my services on a sliding scale (other than my virtual services; that is a set price), free for teens, and take on a limited number of pro-bono clients throughout the year. Within the next few months, I hope to be offering support for Medicaid peeps in my state.

I love what I do! Supporting people who need help is just what I was made to be doing.
