Doula of Belfast

Nicola Morgan

Hi, I’m Nicola—a birth doula based in Belfast, and it’s been my honour to support all kinds of births over the past six years.
I’m also a mum to three grown boys, all in their 20s now. Each of them was born in water—something that felt quite unconventional at the time! But those births were deeply positive experiences: calm, gentle, and supported by the same independent midwife throughout. That continuity of care gave me the confidence I needed as a new mother, and it’s something I hold close in my work today.
Nature is a big part of my life—whether it’s a walk through the woods or learning how the natural world supports our health and wellbeing. It’s where I find peace and perspective, and often where I reflect on the sacredness of birth.
As a doula, my dream is to help first-time mums (and dads) feel empowered, informed, and supported—whether they’re preparing for their first birth or hoping to heal from a previous one. I believe in the power of birth preparation and the importance of feeling seen and heard throughout the journey.
In the near future, I hope to offer more antenatal education through both online and in-person workshops—creating space for deeper connection, knowledge, and confidence as families step into parenthood.
