Simone Kenny Glennon

I am a mother of three children with a huge personal and professional interest in women’s health, education and empowerment. I am an editor, writer and journalist and have edited Woman’s Way magazine and Maternity & Infant magazine. Having experienced the Irish maternity system on three occasions in two different hospitals and care models, I have witnessed, first-hand, the lack of choice, support and care women are afforded during one of their most vulnerable but powerful phases in their life. I feel passionate about women’s empowerment, education and right to birth in the way in which they choose. My doula training has provided me with a great knowledge base and toolkit to support women¬ during such an amazing period of their life.
